Elder Scrolls Online Players, A Question For You

I understand there are some bugs in the early release of the game, but the gameplay sounds interesting. I wanted to ask you, how are your computers coping with it?

My gaming box has been struggling a bit with new releases lately. It’s a quad core 6600 with 4GB and 1GB graphics card, about 5 years old. Will that handle TESO?

Our machines are about the same age, but we’ve upgraded to 2Gb vid cards and had 8 meg of ram to start with. They do ok, but the cpu is beginning to be a bit of a throttle for stuff. My recent experience is more with Landmark than ESO but I was mostly fine in ESO last Sunday as well as during the beta weekend before that.

Oh, and a couple of friends with even older rigs (AFAIK) are playing too. Not saying it’s all roses and ultra settings, but I certainly didn’t experience anything I would call egregious.

    Thanks Ysharros, that sounds encouraging.

I just spent the evening updating and cleaning up my PC, removing some startup apps, so hopefully that will improve things.

Might be worth looking at some extra RAM and maybe a bigger video card.

Now off to bed. Early start tomorrow for Adelaide Comicon.
