…the news that the General Bureau of Radio, Film and Television in China has announced that time travel stories are no longer allowed on TV or in movies. Apparently, such stories are “disrespectful to history” and that many of the “stories are totally made up.” Apparently, the General Bureau of Radio, Film and Television in China is unfamiliar with the definition of fiction.

You know, if they had gone for “Totally contrived and illogical” and maybe required any time travel story to create charts as to what was happening when, I could have backed them up on this.
True. Unfortunately a lot of time travel stories are somewhat contrived, and I reckon most of them are somewhat cliche. Cliche enough that I cringe these days when they appear, which is the same reaction I have when I see ‘computer game’ stories on popular TV shows.
But to say a type of fictional story is banned because it is totally made up… I think China wins the dumbass of the day award.
Time Travel for Individuals – not Governments:
To break the restriction of a linear time sequence, the Lost need empirical data – uncorrupted, honest data. However, the Lost have filtered all their data with a scientific-religious presumption: a finite universe with a finite number of dimensions.
The Lost do not understand, nor do they perceive their conflict with the Infinite Universe and Infinite number of dimensions…
“…nothing can be added to it,
nor anything taken from it…”

Frank, that is a very strange comment. What does it have to do with the topic?
