I can understand (though not approve) a developer putting something like that into a MMORPG in order to provide a timesink, but a single player RPG doesn&#039;t need a timesink mechanism. There&#039;s absolutely no reason, unless a developer thinks they don&#039;t have enough content in their game and wants to hide the fact.

But that wasn&#039;t the case with ME2, as you say it was an awesome experience no matter how long, and the scanning detracted from that.]]></description>
