I saw them selling the game for the midnight release with night vision goggles. I bought mine yesterday for $60, but it is worth every penny. The game is amazing, and extremely fun to play.

The sales are even crazier considering the watering down of the PC version.

The Spec Ops was a complete surprise to me. I had no idea there'd be so many and that they'd vary so much. The one with the AC-130 is a blast.

And I've already seen dynamics combine to make unique experiences. The first time, it was guiding a Predator missile down into an enemy helicopter. Then it was being killed by an enemy's falling air-drop crate (pure coincidence). And then I accidentally shot through my co-op partner's head with a sniper rifle to kill an enemy on the other side. That's the sort of emergent gameplay that gives games longevity and helps make them memorable.

My only big complaint so far (360 version) is the lack of dedicated servers. Microsoft advertises access to multiplayer as the main reason to pay for an Xbox Live Gold subscription, and yet they don't even attempt to ensure the connection quality? MW2 switches hosts now when there's connection trouble, rather than ends matches, but that means I'm having to sit through 30-second pauses and deal with lag 5 seconds or more before that.
