Casualties of War – Epic Shenanigans Pending
Posted by Stropp on August 9, 2008What do you get when a bunch of MMORPG bloggers who are eagerly anticipating a major new MMORPG release get together and decide to form a guild?
Casualties of War, that's what.
The brainchild of JoBildo, Heartless_, Hudson, and Rick, CoW (yes, the moo jokes have already started on the forum) is already attracting a wide range of applicants, many of them bloggers. It's a veritable who's who of the MMOG blogger community.
BTW, don't let that stop you from heading over and signing up. Casualties of War is not a bloggers only guild. It's simply a group of folks who want to have fun in the game and enjoy each others company.
Although, as one post on the forums has already indicated, with this many bloggers in one place, there's sure to be much epic shenanigans.
With the release of Warhammer Online still over a month away, I'm now finding myself looking forward to it more than ever.
Sign up Stropp – had wanted to join a guild of blogger types when I was playing WoW but it just didn’t happen – Egos ahoy! HEHE!
Lol. Yes. I have signed up. I havent decided species, class or alignment yet but there’s still a month to do that.
BTW, DM, are you going to WAR? You should sign up too.
Have done Stropp – am a little concerned over servers though, as if CoW is on a US server will we be able to join in? Hmm..

Damn…I’d sign up if I actually thought I’d be playing WAR. But I’m weak enough on staying power with MMORPGs as it is, and there are too many great FPS games out and in the pipeline more likely to hold my attention. Sorry!
P.S. if it were a 40K MMORPG, that’d b a completely different story.
