Actually this is a little overdue, my birthday was last Thursday and I neglected to mention it on the blog. I went out to dinner with the family, got a few pressies including a DVD box set of the Stooges — Hey Moe, no respect, Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk — and reconvened on Saturday with friends for a movie (Hancock) and dinner at which I received a collective EB Games gift card for a hundred and seventy quid.
Now I just have to figure out what to spend it on.

Thanks SuperAlly. I did have a good time… and with the voucher ended up buying several 360 games. Halo 3, C&C: Kanes Wrath, and Lego Star Wars I - VI.
A good birthday is one where there is much loot.
Good good, its my birthday this month altho im hoping for a quieter affair than my previous one.
I keep walking past Game and have an urge to run in and buy a ps3 or a 360 but tbh since only moving over to pc gaming a few years back the idea of a console turns me cold and i seem to get alot more enjoyment out of pc games.
I’ve always been a PC gamer more than a console gamer, unless you count the arcades I used to frequent way back when I was in high school. I like the consoles though because they are different to PC gaming. Racing games like Forza and GT don’t work that well on PCs, and some of the more arcady games do better on consoles. MMO Games, I think, would work better on a PC (or Mac) than on a keyboardless console.
I guess in the end, I like variety.
